I you are looking for the best off ear experience, look no further! Sounds great and highly recommend!

I use the Quest 3 with the elite strap and the VR Ears make the audio experience second to none. So much better than the built in audio on the Q3. Best of all, you don’t have headphone pressing on your ears or ear buds that don’t fit in your ear properly. Since these are over your ears, it feels like a true surround sound experience, without any ear fatigue during long play sessions. As an audiophile, I love my VR Ears.

These Ear Phones install easy and sound good without being in or on the ears. I had to get the case for them as my case for the Quest 2 couldn’t fit them.
Overall a good purchase.

I'm reviewing this from the perspective of someone who purchased these with the sole purpose of not using these for VR. I purchased this for non-VR comfort listening only, so please keep that in mind. Sorry for the long winded review.

As far as things go, I think the sound quality is pretty solid for the VR Ears. I didn't notice any "break in" stuff that they claim. It sounded the same to me, but I do like them. As far as comfort goes, I do enjoy wearing them more than any other pair of headphones I had, however the headband (sold separately) could be significantly better. I'll get to that later. Battery life is acceptable for what you might use this for. I don't imagine many people playing for 6 uninterrupted hours of VR play, though maybe you would. I get close sometimes I suppose but I have a Valve Index, so I don't need these for that.

I think where my expectations of these headphones fall is that these don't do quite 100% what I'd like out of them. I will still keep them and use them because i think these are made solidly. But I do have a couple things I would love a lot more. For starters, I wish the battery life was closer to 10-12 hours. I know that would add to bulk which would add to weight, but I don't imagine it would add so much to make these too uncomfortable. Granted, I'm using them with just the VR Ears headband which.. Well, if I'm being totally honest, could be better?

The Headband you can buy for the VR Ears is mandatory if you want to use these as a daily driver for headphones. I'm VERY happy to have the headband. However I wish they went with something more unorthodox in terms of design. Instead of mimicking a traditional headband headphone uses, I wish they did some kind of head-strap design that would secure them in place. These things aren't heavy, but they ARE heavy enough to just slide off my head if I bend forward even a little bit. Not a problem if you have them on a VR headset, but I'm not using them for that. I wish I had a more stable headband to put these on.

Additionally, I wish I didn't have to buy an entirely separate bluetooth adapter to use these wirelessly with my computer (or any other device). I get that's not what these were made for so I'm not docking points for that, but it is something that I strongly wish for. I'd love a version of these designed for Non-VR use because these are really the only of its kind on the market that do this. Headphones of all kinds are uncomfortable and make my ears hurt I would love a version of these meant for off-ear listening exclusively. Longer battery life, bluetooth, replaceable battery, a microphone, and a form factor meant to keep them steady on my head would be great. I don't care about style, I just want comfort, and these are so close to being a perfect pair of headphones for me.

That being said, this headset is now my daily driver as far as use on my PC goes. Because it lacks a mic, I can't use these for calls with my phone which kinda bums me out.
Ramble aside. I do like VR Ears. I would recommend them.

Included is a picture of the VR Ears as I have them now. With a headband, Bluetooth adapter, and magnetic charging plugs so I can more easily charge these things. This is so close to being perfect for me.

After a looong time finaly I got my VR- Ears and I like them.
